The Story of New Ventures Technology

The journey of New Ventures Technology began in December 2019 when our CEO, Viola H. Cheeseman, attended the African Union Youth Leadership Program. It was there that she heard a powerful success story from a Nigerian woman living with a disability. This remarkable individual shared her struggles of being looked down upon during her time at university due to her condition. Despite the challenges, she persevered and graduated, ultimately becoming the owner of a bakery company in Nigeria that employs over 500 people.
This story resonated deeply with Viola, especially as she reflected on similar challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in Liberia. Recognizing the systemic barriers and societal stigma that many endure, Viola felt a profound sense of responsibility to make a difference. With her background in technology and a compassionate heart, she envisioned a solution that could empower those who are often marginalized.
